Breath Alcohol Technician Training
Upon successfully completing this comprehensive online training course and the required mock collections, each student will become a DOT-qualified Breath Alcohol Technician. This training will equip you with effective methods for measuring Breath Alcohol Concentration (BAC) for DOT-regulated employees. Whether you aspire to be the first technician on the scene of an accident or wish to add alcohol screening and confirmation to your range of testing services, this course will prepare you for success in the field. This course also applies for alcohol screening and confirmation in non-DOT testing scenarios. (Required mock collections are not included in this course.)
Course Objectives
- Students will be able to conduct collections and testing according to the relevant protocols for the testing modality, demonstrating 100% proficiency in dynamic collection scenarios.
- Students will be able to express an understanding of industry terms and protocols by completing an online quiz with a proficiency of 75% or higher.
