Physicals/Medical Examinations

FMCSA-USCG-FAA-FMCSA-FRA-FTA-PHSMA
All Physicals which may be scheduled through the SECURE SCREENINGS portal.

The SECURE SCREENINGS portal allows you to schedule a physical at medical facilities nationwide in conjunction with or without other types of tests. Results for physicals are available in the SECURE SCREENINGS results portal.

FMCSA Physical

  • The FMCSA Physical is required for all CDL operators and is valid for 2 years

USCG Physical

  • There are two types of physicals for USCG crew members.
    • For Captains, a 719K/E is required for the physical
    • For the Merchant Mariner Credential, it requires a standard DOT physical
  • FAA Physical
    • THE FAA Physical is valid for 6-60 months depending on the age of the pilot
  • FTA Physical
    • The FTA Physical is valid for 24 months
  • PHMSA Physical
    • No requirement
  • FRA Physical
    • No requirement
  • Non-DOT
    • For employers that are Non-DOT but require a work-related physical, these can be ordered in the SECURE SCREENINGS portal also.
